Fellowships

John M. Olin Fellowship in Law and Economics/Corporate Governance

Information for Prospective Applicants

  • Purpose. To foster student research and study in the area of law, economics, and business.
  • Eligibility. Any 2L, 3L, or SJD student at Harvard Law School or any PhD student elsewhere at Harvard University who has a strong and developed interest in economic analysis of law. Applicants are required to have taken a course in economic analysis of law (notably, the course “Economic Analysis of Law” offered at Harvard Law School).  
  • Fellowship Period. Normally, one academic year. (Successive fellowship years are not ruled out, but reapplication would be necessary.)
  • Amount of Award. $2,500.00 per semester.

    Submission of Applications and Notification

    Applications should be submitted by email to Irina Goldina, Program Administrator, by midnight on Friday, June 14, 2024.  Notification of decisions will be made prior to the beginning of the fall semester.
